Networking.

The essential point of networking is human contact. Business has killed networking by making it something for the career orientated person.

My view on this statement is that it is correct and incorrect, whilst the idea of networking comes across to people as being business orientated, a majority of people don’t see that we are networking all the time without realising, this can be in forms of Facebook, Myspace and talking to people in the street.
