As part of my identities project I will be modeling a CDJ, shown below, this will be done in 3D Studio Max.
Here is what I have so far.
This is a rendered image of the basic shape of the CDJ, I added some buttons and the pitch slider, this was done using the basic box and cylinder tools, I then converted them to editable mesh’s and used mesh smooth to add some roundness to give a more realistic look to the model.
Here is a screenshot of 3D Studio Max’s interface of when I was modeling the image, i have added the jog wheel to the model and changed the colour of the base unit.
Here is the rendered view of the unit with the jog wheel added abd the colour change on the unit.
I am pleased with the initial concept design of the CDJ so far, I will be adding some images to the model soon before rendering a final design.
